What are exosomes?

Exosomes are extracellular nanovesicles secreted by cells and participate in intercellular communication. Maintenance treatment shall be done once every 6 to 9 months.

Is there any downtime after the treatment? Is it painful?

Downtime is minimal if using microneedling method.

For manual injections there will be some redness, swelling and needle marks after the treatment, which will resolve within hours. Occasionally there might be bruising, which takes up to a week to resolve.

Numbing cream will be applied on the treatment area prior to the injections. This will significantly reduce the discomfort you may feel during the procedure.

Can exosomes be combined with other aesthetic treatments?

Yes, exosomes can be combined with other treatments such as laser, HIFU and dermal fillers either on the same day or separate days for better rejuvenating effects. Clinical studies have shown that combined treatments provide better clinical outcomes.
